That's for sure... Jimmy Nier also announced his retirement. On the note of Griffith, he specified that he may come back after some time off but who knows. Said his peter was getting pretty sore from this season.

I haven't been "into" sprint car racing much until this year. I'd been to the races growing up but it's the first year I really followed anything from local, to WoO, to All Stars. Even read up on PA races. I think I caught the addiction. Anyways I'm not too awfully surprised about that Tyler.

Some of the staff here are still students when it comes to sprints, I'm one of them. And I like learning about them. If you're not taken to places where sprints dominate the landscape when you're young, sometimes they can be an acquired taste, and it takes some time. First time I ever saw them was when I moved to Pittsburgh from down south about 8 years ago and generally couldn't stand them. Then I tolerated them, and then after I got to know some of the drivers and learned more about the races, I started to like them. It's a progression for some of us, but it's been rewarding too. I look at it like this, if I didn't stay patient with them, I would have missed a lot of cool races..

Thanks for the adds Tiger! Bowser to the new ride will be an interesting thing to track. It could lead to a large step forward to his development as a driver if the chips fall just right! Wonder if DJ Foos takes the ride for 2017? Will we see him at Atomic this weekend?

Do you think kaseykhane will bridg the 4 car Back on the outlaws tour next year with James Mcfadden behind the wheels?

Do you think kaseykhane will bridg the 4 car Back on the outlaws tour next year with James Mcfadden behind the wheels? I personally haven't heard much about that. But it would be intriguing to say the least. McFadden's the goods, that's for sure. His performances to date are testament to that. Maybe a whole year on ASCoC would be a good intro?

That would be nice to see more of McFadden. Saw him at attica and one of the best Australian drivers I've seen alongside jamie veal and the madsens.

Per Jeremy Elliot at PennLive.com, Cory Haas and owner Mike Barshinger have parted ways following the 2016 season. Interesting...

Also on the Cory Haas news, Barshinger said will be naming a new driver in the next couple of weeks. Sounds like he has someone lined up already.
