Hopefully all the lessons they learned this year, will make for a better surface next year. There were some positives that came out of this one in the weekend autopsy. Parking was not as much as a hassle as many had thought it would be. And I've heard from a few people that fan interactivity with drivers was actually better. Seems like all that they really need to improve was the surface and perhaps some camping issues. Also heard food was good, not overly priced and lines were not bad. We all had hopes it would be a great show, and obviously it was going to be a crapshoot with the surface and the weather played a huge role in messing up what had to be done which was to marry a clay surface in less than two weeks. And a few have made mention that they saw more passing at Oswego than they did at Syracuse. They'll give it another go, and we'll see what develops. My biggest concern is for how much of the crowd and how many of the drivers return next year after this one.
